Family: Dad & Mom, 3 brothers & their amazing wives: Craig & Mandy, Mark & Janelle, Ryan & Sabrina. We used to have various pets: a squirrell, praying mantis, and a golden retriever.
Family activities: Grew-up playing sports, reading, & adventuring outside.
My Dad & Mom took us on road-trip camping vacations every summer.
By the end of high school, I had entered every state except Alaska & Hawaii.
Favorite state: Colorado (Mountains are gorgeous), California close 2nd for the ocean, Indiana for all the relationships.
New favorite recipe: Cook sausage inside cored apples at 350. Yum! (I love the sweet, tart, salty, contrast)

- 1991 - 7th grade, started at Heritage Christian School; challenged to read Bible 5 min/day.
- 1996 - Baptized by my grandpa Smiley at family reunion in the river (17 yrs old)
- 1997 - Graduated from Heritage Christian School
- 1997-2001, Purdue University, Biology Teaching degree, minor in chemistry
- Manager for Woman's Volleyball team
- Involved with Navigator's Christian organization
- 2001-2006, Teaching in Indianapolis Public Schools for Arsenal Technical High School
